OUR CHAPTERS

ACTIVE GREEK CHAPTERS AT THE UNIVERSITY OF UTAH

The fraternity and sorority community at the U is made of up 12 fraternities governed by the Interfraternity Council, seven sororities governed by the College Panhellenic Council, the Greek Programming Board whose mission is to provide engaging programming and events to the entire fraternity/sorority community, the Order of Omega which recognizes the Top 5% of our community’s leaders and scholars, and the Office of Fraternity & Sorority Life which supports the overall fraternal experience on campus!

INTERFRATERNITY COUNCIL

The Interfraternity Council (IFC) is the governing body for the 12 inter/national fraternities on campus. Many of these fraternities are members of the North American Interfraternity Conference (NIC).

COLLEGE PANHELLENIC COUNCIL

The College Panhellenic Council (CPC) serves as the coordinating and governing body of the six National Panhellenic Council (NPC) sororities on campus at the U as well as one Associate Member.

Every social fraternity and sorority at the University of Utah must belong to a governing council per University Policy 6-402.
