COLLEGE PANHELLENIC
WHAT IS COLLEGE PANHELLENIC?
The College Panhellenic Council (CPC) serves as the coordinating and governing body of the six National Panhellenic Conference (NPC) sororities on campus at the University of Utah as well as one Associate Member who does not belong to the NPC. The College Panhellenic is here to ensure women are fully equipped to balance the sorority experience with their academic endeavors in order to make the most of their undergraduate years. The College Panhellenic is comprised of six executive officers, all who are undergraduate sorority women, elected by their peers to guide the sorority community throughout the academic year. The College Panhellenic meets weekly with delegates from each sorority to discuss events, provide updates, and share pressing issues affecting the sorority community.
CPC hosts various educational programs throughout the year to support the intellectual development of members while also providing opportunities for women on campus to network and create stronger friendships.
The College Panhellenic manages the primary recruitment process for women looking to join a sorority during the fall semester. This is the formal recruitment process that takes over Labor Day weekend.
